In 1988, Tanner Menzies commenced operating in Melbourne, Australia, with a vision to be the first choice in the delivery of consistent, innovative people solutions, and to provide a supportive and fun environment for our people to be the best they can be. Since that time, we have experienced steady growth to become an international organisation with offices in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Parramatta, Perth and Sydney, as well as Auckland and London.  

In 2002, Vedior N.V., one of the world’s largest recruitment group's, through its subsidiary Vedior Asia Pacific Pty Limited, acquired a majority shareholding in Tanner Menzies. This relationship has provided many benefits to our business, not the least of which is the capacity to provide clients with access to a broader range of services through Vedior’s network of specialist organisations.

Peter Tanner

Peter founded Tanner Menzies in 1988 and is the Managing Director of the company. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

He has over 20 years Executive Recruitment experience covering Executive Search and Selection for Senior Management positions in both Australia and Overseas. His expertise includes Finance, Management, Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Technical and Operations.

Previously he was General Manager of an Australian Biotechnology company and has many years experience in the Human Resources, Manufacturing, Distribution, Services and Not for Profit sectors.
